About the event

WITHDRAWN

For your information, the applicant has withdrawn his request for commercial, mixed-use zoning at 919 10th Avenue North. The public hearing scheduled for December 12th is now cancelled.

The applicant is already approved for a Certificate of Appropriateness (exterior modifications) and Adaptive Reuse (multi-family dwelling units). The request to withdraw his application for commercial, mixed-use zoning does not negate or cancel these prior approvals. The applicant retains his right to reapply for commercial, mixed-use zoning at a future date; however, this will require a new application and public hearing with the Community Planning and Preservation Commission (“CPPC”).

Pursuant to City Code, if a future application is contemplated, the applicant will be required to provide the following notification:

  • At least 10-days prior to submission of the application, the applicant shall provide (email or direct mail) a copy of the pending application to any neighborhood and business association(s) within 300-linear feet of the subject property and the Council of Neighborhood Associations;
  • At the time of application submission, an email shall be sent from City staff to any neighborhood and business association(s) within 300-linear feet of the subject property, Council of Neighborhood Associations, and Federation of Inner City Community Organizations;
  • At least 15-days prior to the public hearing, direct mail notice will be sent to any neighborhood and business association(s) within 300-linear feet of the subject property, Council of Neighborhood Associations, and Federation of Inner City Community Organizations;
  • At least 15-days prior to the public hearing, direct mail notice will be sent to all registered property owners within 300-linear feet of the subject property.
  • At least 10-days prior to the public hearing, a display ad will be published in the Tampa Bay Times advertising the upcoming public hearing.

If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact me using the information provided.

Respectfully,
